| Ward Clifford and Paul - The Alliance |
|
Singer-songwriter Lynn Paul Jr. came on the Boston music scene while
still a teenager, playing with his school mates in a band called Mike Viola Alliance. Mike, also a
singer-songwriter (who later went on to supply the vocals for the soundtrack of the Tom Hanks' hit movie "THAT THING
YOU DO!") fronted the group and they began to attract national attention. That early band started their careers,
working with producer/live engineer Dinky Dawson (The Beatles,Fleetwood Mac), and manager/producer Danny
Bennett of RPM Productions (Tony Bennett, kd Lang, Elvis Costello). The band played with live acts like Todd
Rundgren, Alvin Lee and Joe Perry, and appeared on television, acting in a national sneaker
commercial. The band also performed live on the television show "Off the Record" with Hall
and Oates.

After the break-up of the Alliance, Paul continued to play live, write,
and record his own music. Live appearances included Meat Loaf, Rick Derringer, Extreme and
Beatlemania. A music performer by night, Paul also became a music businessman by day, operating his own
recording and soundstage rehearsal studio, Blackbird Productions. He enjoyed working with national acts like J.
Geils Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, and hooked up with former bandmate Mike Viola and his new
band The Candy Butchers, along with many local acts in the New England area.

| Sean McNeely |

Paul and bass player Sean McNeely began playing together
after Paul met Sean through a musician buddy of his. At the time Sean had been playing with a Rush tribute band but
wanted to indulge himself in playing original music, so he teamed up with Paul. Not long after that, an early
line-up of what became Lynn Paul Junction began to emerge. Several members came and went over the next
few years as Paul and Sean searched to find the right players.

During that up and down period, they managed to play
live and release their first CD titled "Dirty Rain" in the fall of 2002. Paul worked
on the final mix of "Dirty Rain" with Grammy Award winning engineer Carl Beatty.
A northeast radio campaign began with Boston's Planetary Group and covered over a dozen states, with
"Dirty Rain" receiving solid airplay, and definitely establishing the band's music
along the east coast.
The second CD "Bullzeye"
was recorded in the fall of 2003, with a national radio and press campaign slated for early January 2004. During the
recording sessions of "Bullzeye", the band received great news as MTV
had contacted LPJ's promoter wanting to license music from the band. In October 2003 the song "If You Want
to be Free" aired on MTV several times on its highly successful reality TV programming.

More good news arrived in January just after the first
week of a 16 week radio promo; the band charted #10 in the nation on CMJ's most added list!
By the end of 16 weeks, the band had charted over 100 times across the nation and several times in Canada. Noteable
charting positions were: #1 at WDTS, Georgetown, DE; #2 at WMHB, Waterville, ME;
#3 at WGMU, Fairfax, VA; and #4 at KWRF, Santa Monica, CA, to name a few. For more info on
the band's charting history, please see our radio press page.
In 2005, Flagstone Records
signed LPJ and joined forces. One of the first orders of business was to streamline the name of the band to Lynn
Paul Jr. Band. In 2006 the band played live throughout the year, and in the fall began the
recording sessions for the latest CD "The American Way". "The
American Way" was released on Flagstone Records in February 2007. .
